This series in general is heavy on language; however, there is almost always an asterisk in the word. Actual examples from this volume: b*tch, shut the f*ck up, b*stard, sh*t. There is nothing else in this book that would make it inappropriate for a high school library, and it is on the Mavericks 9-12 2025 list.
